STANFORD SUMMER CLASSIC DIVISION 3

  The Stanford Summer Classic Division 3 is a two day tournament with consolation and finals in all Divisions.  Teams are guaranteed to play 3 games and Finalists will have a 4th game.  The Stanford Summer Classic Division 3 tournament will take place on Saturday, August 13th, and Sunday, August 14th.                                                      Tournament Dates, Formats, Game Lengths & Fees:                      APPLICATIONS RECEIVED LIST CLICK TO APPLY HERE If a team registers after 07/01/11, a late fee of $50 will be applied.   Age Group Play Consolation Final Sat 8/13 Sun  8/14 Fee U9-U11 (8v8) 2x25 min 2x25 min 2x25 min Group Play Group Play & Finals $400 U12 - U19 2x30 min 2x30 min 2x35 min Group Play Group Play& Finals $575   Format 8v8 Teams may register a maximum of sixteen (16) players.  A team may use up to seven (7) guest players but is still limited to the sixteen player roster size. Only 14 players are allowed to dress for each game.  11v11 Teams may register a maximum of twenty six (26) players.  A team may use up to seven (7) guest players but is still limited to the twenty six player roster size.  Only 18 players are allowed to dress for each game.  TOURNAMENT FORMAT FIVE TEAM DIVISION:  Will consist of one group of all five teams and play in a round robin format.  Team with the most points after four games will be the champion and the team with the second most points will take 2nd place. SIX TEAM DIVISION:  The teams will be divided into two flights of three teams each.  Each team will play across. The two teams with the highest points in the division will advance to the championship game, and the two teams with the second highest points in the division will advance to the consolation. SEVEN- Team Division: Bracketing – 1 bracket of 7 teams. Preliminary games –Teams in Bracket play against each other for 4 games each. Team with the most points after four games will be the champion and the team with the second most points will take 2nd place. EIGHT TEAM DIVISION: Will consist of two groups with four teams each.  Teams will play the teams in their group; the team with the highest points in each group will advance to the championship game, and the teams with the second highest points in each group will advance to the consolation game.   10-Team Division: Bracketing – Three Brackets – One bracket of 4 teams (A) and 2 brackets of 3 teams (B and C). Preliminary games: Bracket A – Round Robin play for a total of 3 games each. All teams in Bracket B play against all teams in Bracket C for 3 games each. Final: Highest overall points vs. 2nd Highest overall points.
