The 2011/2012 Spring Missouri Presidents Cup (U12 - U13 Girls and U12 - U17 Boys) will be held March 31st - April 1st, 2012 at the Raytown Soccer Complex in Raytown, MO. If there are more than 10 teams in a particular age group, knockout rounds (semis & finals) will be held at a later date that is convenient for the participating teams. The Missouri Presidents Cup is the first leg of the US Youth Presidents Cup Series. The tournament is available for any competitive U12 - U17 boys & girls teams in the state of Missouri. The U13 - U17 champions from Missouri will advance to the Regional Presidents Cup. The cost to participate in the Presidents Cup is as follows: U12 (8v8): $350 U12 (11v11): $400 U13 - U17 (11v11): $500 The 2011 / 2012 Missouri Presidents Cup will be a round-robin format, in which each team will be able to play in up to three (3) pool play games, depending on the number of applicants. The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level. The Presidents Cup gives players an additional opportunity to compete against teams from across the country at a high level for the joy and the challenge of the game. It provides the chance to experience a unique US Youth Soccer event with camaraderie, community and competition through sport. The Presidents Cup provides an opportunity for competitive teams, who do not intend to participate in State Cup, to play in a national tournament series. Winners of the Missouri President’s Cup will advance to the Regional Presidents Cup tournament. All Regional winners will then advance to the National Presidents Cup. ** Semi-finalists from the previous year’s State Cup are not allowed to participate in the subsequent year’s Presidents Cup. Also, if you win Presidents Cup, you are not allowed to participate in that year’s State Cup. So if your team goes the Presidents Cup and wins, you cannot play State Cup in June 2012, since your team will be the Missouri representative at the Regional Presidents Cup.
