     Welcome to the HFC Classic Select Soccer Invitational Tournament February 25-26, 2012   THE FINAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE IS HERE! ***REVISED 2/22/12***   EXCEL VERSION   PDF VERSION THERE WILL BE A ONE-TIME $5/VEHICLE PARKING FEE FOR THIS EVENT. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PAY THIS FEE WITH CASH AT THE ENTRY TO TATUM PARK.   Tournament Sponsors   Tournament Format: U8 will play 5 v 5 (with a keeper) on Saturday (Feb. 25) only in a jamboree. All U8 players and coaches will receive participation medals. U9 and U10 teams wishing to play 6 v 6 will be placed into the U10 Flight (Gold - U10, Silver - U9). They will play a tournament format whereby Saturday and Sunday morning round-robin play (3 games) will determine seedings for Sunday tournament playoffs where a champion and runner-up will be determined in each age/gender division. All U9/U10 players, coaches, and managers from the champion and runner-up teams will receive award medals. U9 and U10 teams wishing to play 8 v 8 will be placed into the U11 Flight (Silver - U10, Bronze - U9). They will play a tournament format whereby Saturday and Sunday morning round-robin play (3 games) will determine seedings for Sunday tournament playoffs where a champion and runner-up will be determined in each age/gender division. All U9/U10 players, coaches, and managers from the champion and runner-up teams will receive award medals. Guest Players: Each team will be allowed to add the following number of guest players to their roster: U8 teams: up to 1 guest player allowed U9/U10 6 v 6 teams: up to 2 guest players allowed U9 and up 8 v 8 teams: up to 3 guest players allowed Team Skill Levels: When possible, teams will be placed in separate brackets according to skill level. Most importantly, select/premier teams will typically populate gold brackets while intermediate (for example, DII, developmental, academy) teams will typically populate silver brackets. When possible, PLATINUM (premier) and BRONZE (developmental) brackets will also be formed. Team Registration: Registration is handled online through the GotSoccer.com system. Team Check-In: Each team must send a representative to the tournament registration table (under the Pavilion) no later than 1 hour before their first game. The check-in materials that will be required include the following: 2 copies of the team's official roster, signed by the club's registrar Player passes for each player on the roster Medical Release Forms for each player on the roster Payment: Each team must be PAID IN FULL before they will be accepted to the tournament. Payment may be made using credit card (online) or check (by mail). Field/Facility Location/Layout: All games will be played at Tatum Park, an 18-field facility maintained by the City of Hattiesburg and exclusively used for soccer by the Hattiesburg Youth Soccer Association/Hattiesburg Futbol Club.  Tatum Park contains a pavillion in the center of the park with a concessions stand and restrooms.
