2012-13 NorCal State Cup U14-U19 Preliminary Round

The Preliminary Round consists of one game played before the Group Stage.  The purpose of the game is to split teams into Groups based on level.  The winner of the Preliminary Match will remain in the State/Premier/Gold Division Group Phase and the loser will drop into the Silver/Bronze/Copper Division Group Phase.  The Preliminary Round game is only played in divisions that are very large and needs the early game in order to ensure proper competition in the Group Phase.  Preliminary Matches are hosted by the higher seeded club on September 9, 2012.  If BOTH teams agree the match may be played before September 9th but may not be played after.  If needed, NorCal will also have fields available for this round of games on September 9, 2012.
