Should play be suspended, have players seek shelter (arrange for a team communication system in advance), then have ONE representative come to the Site HQ fifteen minutes after play was suspended, for further instruction. Do not observe the weather in your area and assume it is the same at the fields. Very often there are significant differences. A Weather Hotline may also be set up at 732-432-7200 if necessary, with oral updates regarding playing fields and conditions. Do NOT leave messages, they will not be monitored during the weekend.
