Dallas Premier Supercopa 2014

    Welcome to the 2014 Dallas Premier SuperCopa The Most Prestigious Academy Tournament In the U.S.   In attempt to provide the most tournament action and the best competition available, the official SuperCopa Play-off System will be utilized.  Because this may be different from most local events, the section from the tournament rules has been included below.  Please refer to the Home Page of the Tournament Website to review the rules in their entirety.   There may be a brief period after completion of the group rounds before exact opponents and fields are finalized as the Tournament Committee verifies all teams' standings and points.  This page will be updated to reflect that play-off rounds are FINAL.  Please be patient and check here for status.  Calling or visiting the Tournament Headquarters will only delay the process.  Thank you for your understanding.  ENJOY THE GAMES!   SUPERCOPA PLAYOFF ROUNDS This event provides playoff opportunities for every participating team.  Teams are grouped into the SuperCopa, Silver, or Bronze bracket AND seeded within that bracket based on their points from the group round. After the SuperCopa group stage for brackets A thru F (first three games) the top 8 teams will make up the SuperCopa bracket, the next 8 teams the Silver bracket and the bottom 8 teams the Bronze bracket.  The top 8 teams will be determined by the 6 winners of each group (Group A – F) in addition two wild cards will be selected based on the 2 teams with the highest point totals.  In the event multiple teams are tied for the wildcard spots then tiebreaker rules will be used to decide the two spots.  Seeding for SuperCopa will be determined by total points.  Example if the winner of bracket C has 30 points after their first three games and they have the highest total points among all teams then they will be placed as the 1st seed and will play the 8th seed (one of the two wildcard teams).  In the event that multiple teams are tied then tiebreaker rules (see above) will apply to determine seeding.  The 8 teams that make up the Bronze and Silver brackets will be determined by total points (see above for how points are earned) and seeding inside the brackets will be determined by total points as well (see tiebreaker above in the event 2 or more teams are tied) from the Group games.
