Schwan's USA CUP

As an International Tournament the Schwan's USA CUP accepts divisions not currently offered in Minnesota League. U9 and U10 will play 6v6 Jamboree Style U11 and U12 age categories offer both 8v8 and 11v11 formats. In U11, top C2 teams may be eligible for Cup Flight. In U12, top Classic I teams may be eligible for Cup Flight. The tournament offers three flights of competition: Cup Flight is open to boys and girls U11-U19; Trophy Flight is open to boys and girls U11-U19; and Medal Flight is is open to boys and girls U11-U17. Cup Flight teams will generally be formed from players of multiple communities, all-star or premier teams, in order to compete with nationally recognized teams. Trophy Flight teams will generally be competitive, community-based teams that desire a high level of competition. Trophy Flight may also include all-star or premier teams that are not ready to compete at the highest level. Medal Flight teams are community-based club teams who are interested in participating in an international event to improve the quality of their team, but are not ready to compete at the Cup or Trophy Flight.
