NHSA Presidents Cup 2014

This is the National Championship tournament that was designed to create a competition for teams not competing in the NSC Series(U12 thru U17; with U12 thru U17 moving to Regional and U13 thru U17 to National Play). for those looking to play against teams of similar abilities for a National Championship Title.  This Tournament is open to all competitive teams and clubs in NHSA.  Teams from NHSA can participate in both the President Cup and State Cup whether they are State Cup Champions or finalists or not.  ALL Competitive teams and clubs playing in the Presidents Cup, will have to have all NHSA fees  paid up to date and Registration fees paid and received into the NHSA office by January 23, 2014; in order to be eligible to participate in the tournament.  If all fees are not received the team will not be allowed to be scheduled to play. This is a tournament that the winners will be going on to a Regional tournament over Memorial Day week end (hosted by PAW in 2014) in the Pittsburg, PA area.  The winners of the Region I tournament will then go on to a National tournament competing against teams from across the US and all four regions, which will be held July 9-13, 2014; in Greenville, NC.  Your team can enter this tournament and win and go on to Play a Memorial Day tournament for one registration fee and compete against teams from the 15 Region I states. The NHSA round robin will take place through March and early April on turf field at New England College (Henniker, NH) and grass fields at NEAC (Pembroke, NH); and completed to give teams not going on to Regional tournament the ability to participate in another Memorial Day tournament elsewhere. U12ss through U17 can participate in the NHSA round robin with the champions going to Regional tournament and the winners of Regional, U13 thru U17 going on to National tournament. Roster size is 14 players for U12ss and 18 players for U13, and with 22 players for U14 thru U17.  There are no guest players allowed on a PC roster but you can add players to your roster up to 72 hours prior of the National event as long as you maintain 65% + 1 of your roster.  You can find additional information for the Presidents Cup Tournament on the NHSA website and the Region I website. ALL TEAMS (both champions and finalists), at the final games will be required to attend awards ceremony as both teams will receive medals.  Also we do expect ALL coaches, players and spectators (from both finalists and champions) to show mutual respect and sportsmanship to all teams, referees, volunteers and staff involved in said events. ALL FACILITIES USED AND ALL STATE TOURNAMENTS ARE A NO DOGS ALLOWED AND SMOKE FREE EVENT.  PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR TEAMS AND SPECTATORS. Fees: U13-U17  - 650.00 per team U12           - 450.00 per team    **If your team wishes to participate in the NHSA round robin but does not wish to continue on to Regionals if they should win; please make a note of this intent on your registration.
