WEATHER UPDATE AS OF 6:30 PM SATURDAY: All Sunday games are now cancelled. Sadly, we are done for the weekend.
The Joint Base Grounds Supervisor reviewed the fields a final time before daylight disappeared, and then advised us that the Host Base was withdrawing use of the facility out of concern for the safety of the participants. Rain continued after play was suspended on Saturday, actually at a rate at the fields that exceeded what was forecast for the area, and the amount of already accumulated precipitation exceeded the drainage capability of the facility. The footing was deemed unsafe for continued play.
There will be a follow-up email after the weekend, advising teams of credits being provided following the cancelled games.
