PRIDE of the ROCKIES CLASSIC August 14- 17, 2014   Welcome! PRIDE of the ROCKIES CLASSIC tournament will be played on August 14-17, 2014.   As a "tune-up" for the fall season and the new soccer year, this will be your chance to evaluate new players and teams. We accept all teams that are USYSA, AYSO or US Clubs members. Registration deadline date is July 25, 2014- 5PM . Register early to secure your spot to play. DATE:  August 14th-17th, 2014 Local teams will begin play August 14th, 2014 LOCATION:  Air Force Academy & Pride Soccer Complex  Colorado Springs, Colorado Hosting Complex: Air Force Academy DIVISIONS: U11 - U14 Competitive Boys & U11- U18 Competitive Girls U9-U10 Option I Boys & Girls Teams  ENTRY FEE: $600 Competitive & $350 Option Teams Team Check In:  Wednesday August 13, 2014   4:00PM - 8:00PM   Thursday August 14, 2014    4:00PM - 8:00PM 5955 Lehman Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80918   Friday August 15, 2014 3:00PM - 8:00 PM USAFA    Tournament Headquarters   No Saturday morning check-ins unless prior arrangements have been made. No team check in is available at the Pride Complex. Please provide 3 copies of approved state roster, player cards, medical waivers, coaches code of conduct, 3 copies of guest player form, and approved travel papers from state association (out of state teams) for team registration.       ENTRY DEADLINE: July 25, 2014 - All registrations must be submitted on-line.  Late registration will only be considered on a space available basis.   Items needed prior to registration: We are asking for all teams registering to identify their current playing level. Teams will be placed into the flights of competition by the tournament competition committee. Please provide sufficient information in the "Team History" section of the online registration system to allow the correct placement.   Please also provide any possible coaching conflicts and scheduling conflicts.  Please note the following:  There will be as many as 4 levels or flights with the following names in this order -Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Local teams will begin play Thursday August 14, 2014 - 4:00PM Games on Friday will begin at 4:00PM ,  Saturday and Sunday will begin at 7:00AM UPDATE: Ages U9/U10 will play at USAFA All Finals will be played at USAFA                                                                                           Once posted all schedules are final. If paying by credit card, please contact the Pride SC Office @ 719-597-6700  Payments must be received within 72 hours of acceptance.  No refunds after acceptance. AWARDS: Awards are presented to Champions and Finalists in each division.   ELIGIBILITY: USYSA, CSYSA,  Competitive or advanced league teams. All out-of-state teams must provide appropriate travel papers from their state associations. Each team is allowed guest players who must be listed on the “Guest Player” form included in the Acceptance letter. Please see rules for # of guest players allowed.  No player will be allowed to play on more than 1 team during this event. FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games with flight winners (and wildcards where appropriate) advancing to playoff rounds. Teams will be placed 4 divisions: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions. The tournament committee reserves the right to combine groups as needed to balance brackets. SITES:  Games will be played at the Air Force Academy & Pride Soccer Complex  [Directions and Map] PROCEDURES: Teams are required to participate in all scheduled matches and adhere to tournament code of conduct rules INCLEMENT WEATHER: The tournament committee has the authority to make any changes deemed necessary including delaying games, shortening match length, or other changes it sees fit to determine match winners and advancement.
