THE 9TH ANNUAL 2015 TAMPA BAY PRESIDENT'S DAY SOCCER TOURNAMENT

The 9th Annual Tampa Bay President's Day Classic Soccer Tournament Feb 14th-15th, 2015 (Limited number of games may be played on Fri night Feb 13th)*** The 9th Annual Tampa Bay President's Day Classic Soccer Tournament is open to all USSF affiliated teams, Boys (U9 –U19) and Girls (U9 – U19) COMPETITIVE “B” LEVEL and PREMIER “A” LEVEL tournament teams are welcome. Last year the tournament hosted over 90 teams and this year we expect even more! GENERAL INFORMATION: Out of state teams are welcome. U9 and U10 teams will play in a 6v6 format and may carry up to 12 players on their roster. U-11 and U12 teams will play in an 8v8 format and may carry up to 14 players, U13 to U-16 teams may carry 18 players on their rosters and will play in a full-sided format while all U17 and up teams, according to FYSA rules, may have as many as 22 in the roster and will play in a full-sided format as well. A player may play for one team only during the tournament. Teams, players and coaches must be in good standing and be registered with their State or National association. Players and coaches must have current, valid & verified player passes which have been laminated with a current photo on the back. IELDS Spirit Fields 301 Youth Sports Complex 10369 N. TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each team will have a minimum of three (3). Games will be played Saturday and Sunday (Limited number of games may be played on Fri night Feb 13th) GUEST PLAYERS: Teams may include up to four guest players. AGE GROUPS FOR TEAMS: U9 – U19 Boys and Girls *U8 teams will be accepted and will play under U9 rules AWARDS: Following the completion of each Championship Match, the two teams will present themselves to the tournament awards area. 1st and 2nd place teams will receive Awards. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Entry deadline is Monday Feb 2nd . Any team entering after the Monday Feb 2nd deadline must pay an additional $25. Space is limited, so please submit early. A check or money orders made payable to Players Sports Marketing must accompany all applications. Fees are $395 for U9 and U10 teams, $495 for U11 and U12 teams and $595 for all teams U13+. ACCEPTANCE: Acceptance packages will be emailed after deadline. Any team that is accepted and later withdraws will forfeit their application fee. Non-accepted teams will be notified as soon as possible, and their fee will be returned immediately. Teams will be turned away once their age group is filled regardless of deadline. TEAM CHECK-IN: Team Check-in will be on Friday Feb 13th at the Family Recreation Complex/CHECK IN- 6610 E. Whiteway Drive Temple Terrace, FL. from 7-8:30PM If your team checked in and uploaded online all tournament documents ( all coaches and player passes, roster and medical releases) and you received a confirmation email from me saying all your paper work was in order, you do not have to come to Fri night's ck-in. Deadline to check in your team in full online is Monday Feb 9th. If you have not checked in all doc by then, you MUST check in on Fri night NO EXCEPTIONS. EVERYONE: Whether you checked-in and uploaded your documents online or are planning on coming to Fri nights check in, you must bring this weekend 5 copies of your roster with guest players included in the roster or with guest players forms. For example, if you have 2 guest players that are not in your roster you must have 2 guest player forms attached to each one of your 5 roster copies. You also must bring all coaches and player passes. If you are checking in on Fri night bring them to us then, If you checked in online, bring them to the fields to be able to present them to the refs at game time. In order to shorten time required for check-in, please have your roster, medical release forms, and player passes in alphabetical order. There will be no coaches meeting. ONLINE REGISTRATION: There is an additional online registration fee. Sign up HERE at the GOTSOCCER tournament page to register your team. SCHEDULE Shedules will be available online at the GOTSOCCER website approximately 7 days prior to the tournament. All changes to schedule will be done through the GOTSOCCER site.
