As an exclusive partner of FIFA since 1970, Panini has spent every four years since then producing the official FIFA World Cup Sticker Collection, an iconic collectible that has become as much a part of the World Cup as the official tournament ball itself.

The sticker collection is a generations-spanning phenomenon that appeals to soccer fans and collectors regardless of age, gender or income level. It breaks down language barriers and borders and brings families together unlike any collectible ever has. This year, for the first time, Panini has developed a partner app that is available on the iTunes Store and on Google Play and allows collectors to scan or manually input their physical stickers into a virtual collection. Launched in April, the app generated more than 800,000 downloads and more than 150 million sticker inputs from more than 200 countries in its first month.

In addition to the sticker collection, Panini introduced the FIFA World Cup Prizm trading card set to the world for the first time this year. The set released in early May with an autograph checklist that includes the greatest legends and current superstars in World Cup history, including Pele, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and 47 others. To accompany the physical card set, Panini also launched a Prizm digital app as well.
