JJ Minor Memorial Winter Warm Up
This tournament is an unrestricted US Club sanctioned event open to all USSF affiliated teams. Non-US Club teams may purchase separate tournament insurance at a cost of $50 per team (visit www.usclubsoccer.com and select the green "registration" tab and proceed to the "tournament team insurance" page). Deadline for application submittal and payment is January 14, 2011. The tournament fee is $450 for U10-U11 age groups and $550 for U12-U19.
The tournament is open to U10 - U19 boys and girls teams from throughout the western U.S., with a minimum of 3 games guaranteed per team. Available rankings will be used to seed the tournament so as to provide appropriate competition for participating teams. Efforts will be made to accommodate schedules for coaches with multiple teams applying. Although we expect to be able to offer age-pure play, age groups may be combined as necessary to offer playing opportunities.
We fully expect that the fields for this tournament will be playable in inclement weather conditions. However, should the tournament need to be cancelled due to field closures, refunds will be issues within 45 days after tournament expenditures are covered. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, teams will receive a minimum of 50% of their tournament fee.
Teams will be notified if they are accepted into the tournament within 1 week of the registration deadline. Schedules will be posted 2 weeks prior to the start of the tournament.
