GotSoccer Help DocumentationIntroducing GotPage: The exclusive GotSoccer social media network that gives you the power to create, control and communicate with your friends through the use of “blocks” –a unique feature that sets GotPage apart from the rest.
With GotPage you can:
- Log in easily without a GotSoccer account via Facebook or Google
- Find friends and send them requests to join your GotPage network
- Create and edit your GotPage with tons of user friendly editing features
- Add blocks and share pictures, videos, text, rankings, team schedules and more
- Use blocks to communicate and share information directly with other GotPage friends
- Live Chat: Choose to converse publicly or privately directly with friends
- High School soccer players can link up to their school's own GotPage for regularly updated team information and to find and communicate with other teammates!
Then, just click on the Private Chat tab and get your live conversation started!

Your Info: Choose your GotPage name! Use your own name or come up with a unique nickname. This will enable friends to distinguish your page from others in the GotPage network.
Options: Two check boxes are available in this section. You can choose the option of displaying your Twitter and Facebook links for other users to see likes and shares or choose to have titles displayed on different blocks on your page.
Background Image: Give MyPage some flair with a festive background to show your love for soccer. Choose from a variety of preloaded backgrounds or upload your own!

+ Add Blocks: The Add Block tabs are what really allow you to bring GotPage to life. Start by clicking on Add Block where you can select from several different options of what you want to share.
General blocks include: Rich text, Picture, Video and Google Calendar. These are great for adding a creative touch and making GotPage a reflection of your personality. Write up a small bio about yourself, your team or your love for the sport! Upload favorite videos and pictures of you and your teammates, games, etc. You can even add your own personal Google calendar.
GotSoccer Blocks include: GotSoccer Calendar, Team Standings and Team Schedule. Here you can add information regarding multiple teams directly from GotSoccer player and team profiles! Just click on an option for detailed instructions on how to import.
Photos: Import photographs from your Instagram or Flickr account, just click and select any photos you want to share on your GotPage. The photo will appear as an added block.
Live Chat Block: To use the Live chat for friends publicly or privately on your GotPage, you must enable the live chat feature when editing your page, and a designated block will appear automatically so you can begin sending/receiving messages. Also, if you view a users page but are not friends with them, you can still send them a private chat invitation if you want to talk. Please see Private Live Chat instructions above for sending messages.
Block sharing: Use blocks to share information with your friends with just a few easy steps. Create a block and click the send button to pull up a list of GotPage friends. Select the friend(s) to send the block to and an email notification will be sent. Your selected friends can then open and view the content and decide if they want to add it to their page. You can also share blocks you receive from other friends.
Blocks can be shared in 2 ways:
1) Copy: A block will be duplicated from your page to a friend(s) page. This allows you to keep it on your page, and also send the same block to other friends later.
2) Live: Create a new block that you want to share, and whenever you update information on that block it will automatically update on your friends shared block.

Block Location: Transfer blocks around the screen to suit your page positioning preferences. Simply click on an added block and drag to where you want it displayed.
Block Background: Pick a background color for each block and you can even adjust the transparency of the block background color with the easy-to-use opacity scale.
Check out changes you make by clicking the Exit Editor tab, which will automatically save any changes you make and display the overall look of your page. You can easily click the Editor tab to continue making changes if you are not satisfied.
Security: At GotSoccer, we understand the importance of privacy within the GotPage social network. Several security elements have been added to ensure your online safety. Choose which friends can view your blocks or use options to share your page or keep it private. Content will also be monitored to filter inappropriate language and media.
