Battle in the Bluegrass 2022

The Battle in the Bluegrass was designed to be an early pre-season tournament that brings clubs together to play highly competitive matches to kick off the fall season! We designed the Battle in the Bluegrass to meet very specific goals in player and club development where teams will be matched with common quality opponents with a focus on competitive balance within brackets and divisions. This early season tournament is a great way to get your team and club ready for the fall season!   This event will be held at one main location (Woodford Youth Soccer Complex) to minimize in-between game travel as well as facilitate coaches’ schedules. Located in the heart of the Bluegrass, the Woodford Youth Soccer Complex offers 12 natural grass fields in one central location to provide convenience for teams and families. One of the only soccer-specific facilities in Central Kentucky, the WYSA Soccer Complex traditionally plays host to the Kentucky Youth Soccer Presidents Cup and Soccer Village Cup events. The WYSA Soccer Complex is close to many local attractions for teams and families.
