GLOBAL CUP INVITATIONAL INFORMATION The Global Cup Invitational is a Premier tournament offering competitive levels of play in an exciting NEW format.  In addition to providing excellent competition, this tournament is formatted to be particularly family friendly and poised to attract teams from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa. High quality awards, including trophies and individual player medals for Champion and Finalist, will be given for each division. A special “Character Award” will be presented in each division for the team displaying the best overall sportsmanship (as voted on by the referees). We use GOTSOCCER exclusively for easy registration and scheduling!!! The tournament will be hosted at the state of the art Stryker Soccer Complex, Wichita, Kansas. Stryker is an ALL TURF venue, every field is lighted for night time games, two sets of  indoor restrooms,  indoor and outdoor snack bar, stadium field, large indoor field, and  easy access to parking. The Stryker complex is within a few minutes of  restaurants, shopping and hotels.   Playing Formats and Costs: U-8 (5 v 5)  $375 U9 to U-10 (7 v 7) $600 U-11 to U-12 (9 v 9) $700 U-13 to U-19 (11 v 11) $775 ADULT MEN (7v7) $400 ADULT WOMEN (7v7) $400 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 19th Team Check in information Online Team Check-In (OCI) is an opportunity for your team to skip team check-in by completing the process online prior to the tournament. Your team will be able to check-in by sending pictures of your documents (roster, player cards, waivers, etc.) to us.  Once you have completed this, we will check your team in prior to the tournament so you don’t have to attend check-in in person! Referees will match player cards to the official roster at game time.  Please note, a player may only play on one team in the tournament Teams will be required to provide the following: A copy of your state certified roster Player passes for all players participating Medical releases for all players participating (these forms do not need to be notarized) Guest player permits (if relevant) Travel permit for all non-Kansas registered teams.   This is a Stay to Play Tournament The Stryker Soccer Complex  policy states that in order to participate in a tournament event all out of town teams are required to book hotel rooms in one of several tournament-approved hotels in Wichita. All out of town teams must book hotel rooms through GCI Travel or they will not be allowed to participate in the tournament. We are fortunate to have a state of the art soccer facility that was built and funded with tax incentives. As the soccer users, for the cities and developers to invest in and build these world class complexes, we (the soccer users) agreed to contracts with the complexes and/or cities require Stay and Play for all out of town teams. One of the main reasons’ cities build world class soccer complexes like ours is because of the positive economic impact they have on their area. A big driver of economic impact is hotel nights. We have many affordable options, all less than a 10 min drive from the Stryker Soccer Complex.
