2020 Surf Cup (Youngers) September 19-20, 2020 Birth years 2007 - 2013

REVISED DATES for SURF CUP YOUNGEST teams 2007 - 2013: Due to COVID19 and phase reopening we have changed the dates for this summer Surf Cup event. Play dates for boys and girls 2007 - 2013 will now be September 19-20, 2020. The 2020 Surf Cup tournament starts the new soccer year in Cal South. Teams should register and play according to the 2020/21 season. We will follow US Soccer's Age Group Guidelines based on birth year and the Small-Sided Games Mandates. Surf Cup (youngest) will host teams in the 2013 (U8) through 2007 (U14) age groups. The Best of the Best Division will be the top division at this event. The top 16 team applications will be selected for this division in each age/birth year. All teams are guaranteed 3 games over the 2-day weekend. Registration deadline is August 15, 2020. Teams will be notified by August 20, 2020 of their status for the event. This is a US Club Sanctioned event but player cards from USYS, USSSA, AYSO are accepted. Surf Cup is a stay and play event meaning all teams must make their hotel reservations through Maverick Travel. Instructions will be included on the acceptance email that each team will receive if they are accepted into the tournament. There is no opt-out option for this policy.
