Dear Soccer Enthusiast,
On behalf of the Hurst United Soccer Association, we invite you to participate in the 2009 Hurst United Classic XVI Tournament. (Formally the HUSA Turkey Shoot) Our tournament will take place November 20th 21st & 22nd. at the: Hurst Athletic Complex-2104 Precinct Line Road & Hurst Community Park 601 Precinct Line Road and surrounding fields. Preliminary games will take place on Friday evening and Saturday, with finals on Sunday, November 22nd. With over 300 teams participating from Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana some age groups fill up very quickly. Acceptance is on a first come, first served basis. In some cases, we may be forced to limit the number of teams in a bracket, so do not delay. Our tournament is Recreational, Academy & Competitive. We will allow up to 3 guest players per Recreational team and 5 guest players for Competitive teams. No guest players will be allowed for Academy teams. NTSSA release forms with all appropriate signatures required for each guest player. All coaches must have NTSSA Identification Cards, Medical Release Forms for each player and travel permits if your team is from outside NTSSA.
Trophies will be awarded to all 1st& 2nd place teams for U9 and older. U5-U8 players will receive participation awards. In addition, all participants will receive a tournament souvenir. Tournament T-shirts will be available to purchase. This Tournament is the warm-up tournament for TOC. (Recreational teams) And a great year end tournament for the Academy and competitive teams.
