USSF Coaching Courses – New Updates for 2014 & Structure
Presented by: Denny Vaninger, MYSA Director of Coaching. Heading into 2014, there have been significant changes to the U.S. Soccer Coaching Courses, especially the ‘D’ and ‘E’ licenses. Denny will go over these changes and the specifics for the entire U.S. Soccer Coaching Pyramid.
Risk Management & Legal Liability – Potential Risks in Youth Sports
Presented by: Scott Dickenson, Partner with Lathrop & Gage. In the world of Youth Soccer, there are a number of potential risks for players, parents, coaches, and clubs/leagues to take into account. Scott will analyze some of the major risks that affect these different groups as well as answer specific questions that arise during the discussion.
Discussion on Recreational Soccer in Missouri
Presented by: MYSA Staff & Board. As the basis for any organization, recreational soccer holds an important place in the soccer pyramid. In this Workshop, we will discuss the current recreational soccer landscape in Missouri as well as ideas for future programs and development throughout the state.
Discussion on Competitive Soccer in Missouri
Presented by: MYSA Staff & Board. In this workshop, the competitive soccer landscape in Missouri will be discussed. Specifically, we will discuss State Cup, Presidents Cup, the MRL, local competitive leagues and other competitive competitions in Missouri, the Midwest, and nation-wide.
