Sweep the Swamp

Sweep the Swamp 2011 Soccer Tournament   On behalf of the Crossroads Soccer Association, we would like to invite you to join us for our annual Sweep the Swamp soccer tournament to be held on September 24th and 25th, 2011. The tournament is open to any boys and girls teams from U-11 through U19. Single age divisions will be formed if the number of teams permits.   The tournament will be held at the Johnny Downs Soccer Complex and the O’Hearn Mathew’s Soccer Complex.  Please send in your registration as soon as possible to avoid the deadline rush.   During check-in, each team must present the following for verification:   An approved team roster. A medical release form (available at www.lsa-soccer.org). USYS laminated, signed, and league registrar approved player passes for each player. If traveling from outside of Louisiana, an approved USYS travel permit.   A maximum of 3 guest players are permitted (but you must not exceed your official roster size). Additionally, all player passes must be presented to the referee prior to the start of each match.   The number of field players at each age group will be in the following format:                                                   U-11/U-12       8 v 8                                                 U-13/U-19      11 v 11   The entry fees are: U-11/U-12 teams--$375 and U-13 through U-19 teams--$450.   The entry deadline is September 14, 2011 and teams are accepted on a first-come, first- serve basis.
