CFC Columbus Day Classic 2013

16th CFC Columbus Day Classic Oct 12th & 13th, 2013 TOURNAMENT INFO CFC invites you to participate in our 16th CFC Columbus Day Classic Tournament to be held on Columbus Day weekend, October 12th and 13th. This tournament will include Premier and Select level teams for both boys and girls. The Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) have sanctioned this tournament. Each team entering the tournament must be currently registered with their State, National Association or any other US Soccer affiliated club. Maximum roster size will be eighteen (18) which may include up to three (3) guest players. Players may be registered with more than one team per age bracket, however players must be on the official team roster prior to the event. No roster changes are permitted once the tournament has started. Teams from outside Region I and New Jersey must have an authorized copy of the USYSA Permission to Travel Form at registration. When: Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th. Format: All age groups will play 3 game minimum that will consist of two 30 min halves.The three-referee system will be used for all age brackets (except U10). Individual player awards will be given to the winners. Fees: Ages U10 & U11 - $650 Ages U12 & Up - $695 Playoffs Tie Breakers: 3pts win 1 pt for tie 0 pts for loss First Tie breaker – Head to Head Second Tie Breaker – Goal Differential (Plus 5 Max per game) Third Tie Breaker – Goals For (5 max per game) Fourth Tie Breaker – Goals Against (fewest) Fifth Tiebreaker – Most Shutouts Sixth Tiebreaker – Penalty Shootout Format 2x30 minute halves.
