Houston Memorial Day Cup 2016 May 28-29th, 2016 Greater Houston Area All U8-U19 teams are open to both Girls and Boys teams 6/4/2016 - 8:30 AM update -  Dear all:   We are in the final stages of collating all the expenses and determining the pre-tournament costs, We will be issuing an e-mail shortly to all teams with refund amounts and start the refund process off.  Check & e-check payments - Please be sure to have the correct point of contact in your Gotosccer account, as checks will be sent to that address for each team. All credit card payments will be credited back to the card on file within 3-5 days after the amount is determined. Checks will be cut and mailed out, which will take a few days longer, as it's a manual process. All refunds will be received no later than June 30th 2016. We do however, expect them to be with each team before that date. We will e-mail teams shortly on the amounts to be refunded. Thanks agin for your continued patience on this. u8-u9     $370 playing 7v7 (we do accept u8 teams but they will be combined in the u9 bracket) u10-u12 $390 playing 8v8  u12-u19 $490 playing 11v11 Please note a 5% charge on all credit card transactions Age Group Clarification: This event is set up for teams in the Aug-July birth format. With the impending change to move teams to calendar birth year, new teams or teams wishing to participate in the birth year format (Jan-Dec) will register and play in the age group of their oldest player. For example, a birth year 03 team will need to play in the 02-03 age group, which is current U13. 3 game minimum with finals/advancements in all brackets except for brackets of 5, who will play 4 games each, with winner determined on highest points total. All travel teams playing in the event will need to be housed by GYC Planners in the tournament sanctioned hotels.
