South Texas Cup is the entry level of state competition in the South Texas Spring Cups Series. The South Texas Cup is a restricted-entry competition for 11U to 19U teams that competed in a South Texas Youth Soccer Division II or Division III level league. South Texas reserves the right to place teams in a different competition, dependent on their seasonal league results.

South Texas Cup is a two-stage event. Play groups will be formed within each District. The number of teams in each group and number of groups will be determined based on the total registration numbers for each age group. Initial event age groups are 11U to 18/19U boys and 11U to 18/19U girls. Age groups may be combined if there is an insufficient amount of teams in one or multiple age groups.
All accepted teams should plan and prepare to participate in District Playoffs (April 6-7; Rain Date: April 13-14). Typically, the 1st and 2nd place finishers at the District Playoffs will advance to the South Texas Cup State Finals (April 27-28, 2024).
