Morton Blaze 2012 Pumpkin Classic

We are excited to host 168 teams for this year’s tournament, our largest tournament yet.  In preparation for such a large crowd we have set up a second field location at Lincoln Elementary School.  We will have additional parking at the Morton High School.   Some notes on parking  Parking at McClallen Park – there will be numerous parking spots at the main fields both on the pavement and in the grass, however these will fill quickly.  Parking at Lincoln School – there are plenty of parking spots at the school and on the street to accommodate the fans watching games at the Lincoln field site.  Free Park & Ride Shuttle Service - The High School is just a little over a mile from McClallen Park Soccer fields.  We will offer a FREE shuttle service from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 9 am to 2:30 pm on Sunday.  The shuttle will run continuously back and forth from the McClallen fields to the High School during these times.  There will be signs along Jackson to direct fans to the shuttle parking.  Please encourage your parents to utilize the shuttle, especially in the middle of the day on Saturday and Sunday as parking will be very congested at the main field site.   Carpool - We also ask that fans carpool whenever possible.   Parking in the adjacent neighborhood – fans may park the adjacent neighborhood and enter the main soccer fields from the open gate at the southwest corner.  We ask that if your fans do park in the neighborhood they use the sidewalk and walk around to the front of the neighborhood and then out to the field entrance.  Fans should not cut through the yards.      Church Parking Lot – fans may park in the Methodist Church parking lot at any time on Saturday.  On Sunday the church lot will be closed for soccer parking until after the last church service, around 1 pm.
