The Kentucky Derby Festival produces over 70 events annually and has been the two-week celebration leading to the Kentucky Derby since 1956. The Louisville Cup Girls Tournament weekend (April 22-23, 2017) will be in conjunction with Thunder Over Louisville and Air Show. Thunder Over Louisville is the largest Fireworks show in the Country and brings over a half-million visitors to the City of Louisville, annually. Participants in the Girls Louisville Cup will have the opportunity to play games during the day throughout the weekend and take advantage of all of the excitement of Thunder Over Louisville and other KDF functions on Saturday evening.
