The Freehold War at the Shore Soccer Tournament is a great way for teams to wrap up the spring season and welcome summer. The tournament presents a very affordable option for teams with registration fees for U8 through U10 (7v7) $395, U11 and U12 (9v9) $495 and U13 through U17 (11v11) $595. Any U8 through U12 teams which had participated in the 2016 Frightfest Tournament receives a $100.00 registration fee discount. This annual event which is held on pristine natural grass fields, gives clubs and their players an opportunity to take part in a competitive tournament offering teams a minimum of 3 games with the chance to play in a final awarding trophies to the 1st and 2nd place winners in each age division. In addition to the competitiveness and great pricing, there will also be plenty of vendors on hand to really make this a great soccer experience for the kids and their families. After the games, plan on taking a short drive to visit the Jersey Shore, Six Flags Great Adventure, or some of the other attractions the area has to offer.
June always brings beautiful days to the Jersey Shore. Age groups are starting to fill up and plans are being made by teams to make their own history and play soccer on the very land where American Colonists pushed the British forces to the brink of surrender.
