23rd Annual Girls Fallston Cup

23rd Annual Girls Fallston Cup

The Fallston Cup is the premiere end-of-season tournament played in November; located at the Fallston Recreation Council fields in Fallston, Maryland. The Boys Fallston Cup tournament was founded in the fall of 1994, with the Girls Fallston Cup added the following year, in 1995. The tournament allows teams to cap their seasons with a tournament providing great competition and one last soccer adventure before the holidays. The tournament is well organized and always manned with many friendly and helpful volunteers. The Fallston Cup attracts over 400 teams for the two weekends of the girls and boys tournaments. Teams come from all over Maryland as well as Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia - join in the competition and fun. The 2016 Fallston Cup saw a record number of teams. The Girls Cup had 211 teams while the Boys Cup had 233 teams. The Cup expanded to 10 venues with 36 fields used for play. The Cup had 803 games played with 1,999 goals scored! 373 of those games were one goal games or ties -- great competition! Thanks to all the volunteers who worked many days and nights leading up to the event and of course on the day of the event - it was all a huge success. The tournament is open to all US Soccer Federation (USSF) affiliates. In addition to those teams, we also host brackets for local recreation all-star teams as a great way to cap their season.
