The 2020 7 Elite Academy International Tournament is one of the biggest three-day soccer competitions in the region - not only involving clubs from across the United States, but also teams based in the United Kingdom. Players, parents and officials will gather in St. George, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada for a celebration of youth soccer from February 6th to February 8th, 2020. The event follows a successful competition event in February 2019, when one hundred teams fought it out in the biggest tournament in 7EA history. This year's event will also feature a Pre-Academy Jamboree competition for young people in the 2012 to 2015 age brackets. The action will take place at Sullivan River Soccer Park in St. George and Mesquite Regional Soccer Complex in Nevada – the first time games have been held outside of Utah. The 2019 tournament was praised for the use of experienced officials, who will return in 2020, while an additional point will be awarded to the winners of the penalty shootout challenge at the end of each game in the group stage.
