The Louisiana State Cup is the culmination of a full year of play in Division 1 of the LCSL. Teams are seeded in the tournament according to their LCSL results. In most age / gender groups there is a Preliminary weekend followed by a Championship weekend, during which the State Cup Semi-Finals and Finals are played. Actual group formats in each division depend on the number of participating teams. 1st Place teams from each 13U-19U age / gender group are crowned the Louisiana State Champion. 14 State Championship teams will represent Louisiana at the US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championships in Greenville, SC, June 17-24. 1st Place teams at the Southern Regionals will represent Louisiana and the South Region at the US Youth Soccer National Championships in Bradenton-Sarasota, FL, July 20-25.
