Aydin Gonulsen Memorial Tournament - 2023 S.A.S.A. Soccer Complex | APRIL  1st, 2nd 2023 In honor of Aydin Gonulsen( SSU/UIS Former AD and Soccer Coach - '43-'21) SASA will be hosting our 2nd annual spring tournament in his honor in Springfield Illinois. Aydin impacted so many lives with his positive influence that lead to a better life. Such a wonderful personality with a beautiful positive attitude, he could put a smile on everyone's face.  Aydin is the reason we have such a great soccer community and it was him who made it happen. He put Springfield and Sangamon State University on the soccer map nationally. He enriched our community bringing in players from all over the country and internationally, many who stayed and put down roots here in Springfield and became youth soccer coaches at SASA. They improved our local players and led to Springfield producing great talent along with numerous high school and club championships over the years.
