The South Texas Presidents Cup, part of the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title (national title opportunity for 13U-19U age groups only). Presidents Cup is an open-entry competition recommended for STX Youth Soccer Division I teams not seeded into State Cup and high-level Super II teams. Presidents Cup is a two-stage tournament where accepted STX Youth Soccer teams will compete in a district playoffs from mid-April to mid-May. Scheduled like league play over multiple weekends, typically, age groups are scheduled within each district as one level of play. Each district age group competes to advance the top two teams (or finalists) to State Finals. Please note: there is no gold/silver, red/blue, etc. bracketing style utilized within Presidents Cup. State Finals is held over a single weekend at a pre-determined location. Initial event age groups are 11U to 19U boys and 11U to 19U girls.
All accepted teams should plan and prepare to participate in all scheduled matches. Typically, the 1st and 2nd place finishers at the District Playoffs will advance to the Presidents Cup State Finals (May 17-19, 2024).
