Mike, or "Mr. V" as he was known to his players, loved teaching soccer to children of all ages, and was a driving force in shaping Indiana youth soccer in the mid 1970's. He coached several Dynamo teams, and was a co-owner of the first Indiana specialty soccer store, The Soccer Center.
He also helped establish soccer programs at the Jewish Community Center and North Central High School. This tournament is in honor of Mike's enormous contributions to Dynamo F.C., Indiana Youth Soccer, and to humanity.
