The Cal North Soccer League (CCSL) is Cal North’s premier league for youth competitive soccer. For over 50 years, the CCSL has been Northern California’s top level of competition in youth soccer. The league is for all of Cal North’s affiliated clubs and includes teams from U8 to U19 age groups. There are three levels of play ranking from highest to lowest: gold, silver, and bronze. Normally the league is broken into two separate seasons, fall and spring, with seasons consisting of roughly 8-10 games. The league is intended for each of the Northern California districts, 1 through 9. The idea is that each district’s member clubs shall put in several teams at each age group and level so brackets can be established in a manner that provides great local competition that reduces travel time for participants.
