NHSA Presidents Cup 2013

This is a tournament designed for the teams that do not compete in the National Championship Series (State Cup). Teams will have to choose to play in either the Presidents Cup or the State Cup Championships. All Competitive teams and clubs playing in Presidents Cup, will have to have all NHSA fees paid up to date and Registrations fees paid and received into the NHSA office by January 23, 2013; in order to be eligible to participate in the tournament. If all fees are not received the team will not be allowed to be scheduled to play. This is a tournament that the winners will be going on to a Regional tournament held over Memorial Day week end (hosted by NH 2013!!). The winners of the Region I tournament will then go on to a National tournament competing against teams from across the US and all four regions, which will be held July 10 thru 14, 2013; Lake Myrtle Sports Park, Aubrndale, Florida. This is a great tournament to compete in without the stress of the NCS. Your team can enter this tournament and win and go on to play a Memorial Day tournament for one registration fee and compete against teams from the 15 Region I states. The 2013 Region I Presidents Cup tournament over Memorial Day week end May 24-27 will be held in New Hampshire!!! The headquarters facility will be Continental Recreational fields on West Rd in Londonderry. The NH round robin will take place through March and early April on turf and grass fields and completed to give teams not going on to the Regional tournament the ability to participate in another Memorial day tournament elsewhere. U12(SS) through U17 can participate in the NH round robin with the champions U12ss thru U17 going to Regional play and U13 thru U17 going on to National tournament. Roster size is 14 players for U12(SS) and 18 players for U13 thru U15 with 22 players for U16 thru U17. There are no guest players allowed on a PC roster but you can add players to your roster up to 72 hours of the National event as long as you maintain 65% +1 and may not be on a NCS roster. You can find additional information for the Presidents Cup Tournament on the NHSA website and the Region I website   All teams (both finalists and champions), at the fiinal games will be required to attend awards ceremony as both teams will receive medals. Also we do expect all coaches, players and spectators (from both finalists and champions) to show mutual respect and sportsmanship to all teams, referees, volunteers and staff involved in said events   The facilities used and all state tournaments are a no dogs allowed event; so please pass this on to your teams and spectators
