NHSA OPEN/PRESIDENT'S CUP CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017

NHSA OPEN/PRESIDENT'S CUP ​ NHSA Open Cup is the combination tournament for teams who wish to play in the NHSA President's Cup but do not wish to travel to play at the Regional/National level of the President's Cup. ​ President's Cup is the National Championship tournament that was designed to create a competition for teams not competing in the NSC Series (U12 thru U17/18; with U12 thru U17/18 moving to Regional and U13 thru U17/18 to National play). For those looking to play against teams of similar abilities for a National Championship Title. ​ Regardless of ​which tournament you register for, your team will play and be seeded against teams from both registered tournaments. ​ All Competitive teams and clubs playing in the PRESIDENT'S CUP, will have to have all NHSA fees paid up to date and Registration fees paid and received into the NHSA office by January 4, 2017; in order to be eligible to participate in the Regional/National tournament. If fees are not received, the team will be placed in the OPEN CUP. ​ All Competitive teams and clubs playing in the OPEN CUP, will have to have all NHSA fees paid up to date and Registration fees paid and received into the NHSA office by February 10th, 2017. ​ This is a tournament that winners will be going to a Regional Tournament over Father's Day week end (hosted by West Virginia in 2017) The winners of the Region I tournament will then go on to a National tournament competing against teams from across the US and all four USYS regions, which will be held July 12th - 16th in Auburndale, FL. ​ Your team can enter this tournament and win and go on to play a Father's Day tournament for one registration fee and compete against teams from the 15 Region I states and possibly move on to play in the National tournament against teams from across the US. ​ The NHSA games will take place in March into mid April (Saturdays ONLY in April) at the NHSA grass fields (weather permitting) at 317 Buck St., Pembroke, NH. This tournament will be completed to give teams not qualifying to the Regional play time to locate and participate in another Father's Day tournament elsewhere. ​ Possible Tournament Play Dates: 3/4/2017     &     3/5/2017 3/11/2017   &     3/12/2017 3/18/2017   &     3/19/2017 3/25/2017   &     3/26/2017 4/1/2017 4/8/2017 4/15/2017 ​ U12ss thru U17/18 can participate in the NHSA tournament with the champions moving on to Regionals and the winners of Regionals U13 thru U17/18 moving on to Nationals.  Each club will provide a President's Cup roster with no more than sixteen (16) players on the 12-U age group. The 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17/18U age group roster will consist of twenty-two (22) players. State Associations must supply a roster reflecting the players registered for the State level event which the PCC can use to determine compliance with the following: Roster will have a continuity that includes at least 9 of the players who participated in the Regional Qualifiers for Presidents Cup. No player added to a team after the Regional competition is completed shall be rostered on a USYSNC team. Rosters MUST be legible and signed by the State Association Registrar Players MUST be listed in alphabetical order, last name first. Jersey Numbers MUST be listed on roster. All players will have a uniquely numbered jersey that matches the roster. No team shall be allowed more than the 16/22 players on its roster (as defined above). Team bench personal [maximum of four(4) people] will have AND display on their person in a fashion that is easy to see on the lanyard provided the identification passes provided by US Youth Soccer President's Cup   Player/Coach Passes: Each player and team official listed on a team roster must carry the US Youth Soccer member pass with a current photograph of the player or team official and the appropriate official of the State Association and laminated prior to check-in. Team officials (not players) over the age of 17 must provide proof they have been approved by their State Risk Management Committee at check in. ALL TEAMS(both champions and finalists) , at the final games will be required to attend awards ceremony. Also we do expect ALL coaches, players and spectators (from both finalists and champions ) to show mutual respect and sportsmanship to all teams, referees, volunteers and staff involved in said events. ALL FACILITIES USED AND ALL STATE TOURNAMENTS ARE A NO DOGS/PETS ALLOWED AND SMOKE FREE EVENT. NO BBQ'S.  PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR TEAMS AND SPECTATORS. Fees: President's Cup: U13-U17  $600.00 per team* President's Cup: U12           $450.00 per team* ​ Open Cup: U13-U17  $700.00 per team (State Games ONLY - No Travel Out of NH) Open Cup: U12           $550.00 per team (State Games ONLY - No Travel Out of NH) ​ *Discount given to teams willing to travel to the Region 1 Tournament ​ Special NOTE: Tournament is open to ALL TEAMS in New Hampshire.  Teams not currently affiliated with NHSA are welcome to play in either tournament.  Teams will have to affiliate to participate. Teams looking to participate in the PRESIDENT'S CUP who are not affiliated, will also have to pay to become members of NHSA.
