PBSL 2019 Early Season

The playoffs will take place the weekend of Nov. 9th-10th at Katz field in Royal Palm Beach * Friday night games will start at 7:00 PM. Saturday games will begin at 11:00 AM. Sunday games will begin at 9:00 AM. * For any 4-team divisions, the top 2 teams based on standings will play each other in a FINAL only. For divisions with greater than four teams, there will be a round of SEMI-FINALS, winners move on to the FINALS. Divisions with fewer than four teams will not participate in playoffs. Teams will pay for referees same as throughout the season (each team pays half according to the same fee schedule). Rosters are "frozen" as of October 25th, no player will be allowed on the playoff roster that has not already been part of that team's roster. Rules for playoff games will be the same as used throughout the season. League will print all the rosters, bring player passes and money. Games ending as a tie at the conclusion of regulation play will go directly to Penalty Kicks. There will be medal presentations following each final game. OPT-OUT - If your team did not wish to participate in the playoffs deadline to opt-out was Nov 1st. The next team in the standings will be selected to participate and notified. Teams will not be allowed to opt-out after the Nov. 1 date and forfeit policies will apply for the playoffs. Teams/associated club must also be current on any fines - outstanding fines must be paid by Nov.1 or teams will be excluded from the playoff schedule. Playoff game notification and schedules will be sent via email following the conclusion of early-season games on Nov. 3. We will try to have this information published and sent to all teams by end of day on Nov. 4. As noted, we emailed the slotted game times so you already have this information in advance for planning purposes. Making a special request to please try to post scores directly following the games this weekend. This will enable us to finalize the playoff schedules sooner rather than later (and posted for you) and also be able to focus on getting those schedules completed versus chasing down scores.
