Cal North U13-U19 State Cup is the state-level qualifier for the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series and is the cup competition created for the top-level Competitive teams including gold and premier level competitive teams. State Cup is open to any team registered with a Cal North affiliated member league, including District Commissioners' Leagues, and that competes in a Cal North approved playing league. Approved playing leagues are leagues affiliated through US Soccer, including but not limited to CRL, CCSL, NorCal Premier League, ECNL, and US Youth Soccer National League. Cup play begins with one weekend of preliminary round games. Teams advancing to the single elimination rounds and championships may play on those games on a subsequent weekend. The preliminary round games may be played at various venues throughout Northern California. Teams that complete their application and/or payment after 5 PM on the published application deadline may be placed in the Reserve Pool and their entry fee will include an additional $100 fee above the regular Cal North Presidents and State Cup entry fee. Placement in Reserve Pool does not guarantee acceptance to Cal North Cup.
