2016 CSA Shootout

The Peter J. Underwood Memorial Tournament, formally the Capital Soccer Association Shootout, will be held on May 06,07,& 08th.  The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be the home to the tournament this year giving teams an opportunity to play on top-notch fields surrounded in the excitement of playing on a college campus.  Peter was a former Director of Coaching at CSA, an innovator of youth soccer curriculum and led numerous camps and training sessions touching the lives of hundreds of soccer players with his “love what you do” attitude.  His life tragically ended at the age of 31 leaving behind his wife and two young children.  Peter gave so much to so many in the Lincoln soccer community and it is our mission to help his love and passion for life and soccer live on through this tournament.  A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Peter’s wife and children. The PJU Memorial Tournament will host a gold and silver division.  Competitive and Recreational teams are encouraged to apply.  Premier teams will only be allowed to play against Premier competition and will not be allowed to play in any lower division.
