Central Jersey Invitational 2019 Boys

EDP continues its tradition of naming Central Jersey Invitational brackets to honor current members of the US Men's National Team, which are playing in the Gold Cup this summer. WEATHER UPDATES will be first posted HERE! Check for updates as circumstances warrant. Should play be suspended, have players seek shelter (arrange for a team communication system in advance), then have ONE representative come to the Site HQ fifteen minutes after play was suspended, for further instruction. Do not observe the weather in your area and assume it is the same at the fields. Very often there are significant differences. WEATHER UPDATE as of 2:00 PM THURSDAY JULY 18: PLEASE BE ADVISED that EDP has cancelled all games scheduled for the weekend of July 20 & 21, at both the Pocono Cup Premier 2019 Girls and the Central Jersey Invitational 2019 Boys. The health and safety of all tournament participants, including players, coaches, spectators, referees, staff and volunteers is a paramount concern to EDP.   While we make every attempt to conduct the event if possible, the weather forecasts for the upcoming weekend have indicated extreme weather where the well-being of all participants is a matter of concern. EDP has consulted with our governing body, US Youth Soccer, local medical and weather professionals prior to making our decision. EDP regrets every time we have to cancel a competition. Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating for this upcoming weekend, and we want our soccer family to be safe and healthy. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you at another EDP event! EDP has sent an email with greater detail to Team Contacts, including follow-up information. We note that we have expanded the capacity the following weekend at MAPS CAPS 2019 and at EDP Summer Showcase 2019, both being held on July 27 & 28 at Tuckahoe Turf Farm in Hammonton NJ. However, space is limited, and EDP will accept teams on a first-received request basis until we have reached capacity.
