In an effort to avoid traffic delays we wanted to share several bits of information. First, there are three exits from Skagit River Park. On the map the three exits are shown in different colors. Leaving the south side of the complex, you can take either a right or a left onto Whitmarsh Road to get to i5. Going out the main entrance of the park, you can go straight or left to get to i5 as well. Going out along the dike to the NE side of the complex, taking a right will help avoid traffic from the main entrance, and you can get to i5 from that exit as well. Second, the i5 bridge over the Skagit River will be reduced to one lane from 5AM-930AM Saturday and Sunday, per the WSDOT Twitter page, so please plan accordingly in the mornings. Third, please make sure you are not parking where there are cones, barricades, or caution tape. Parking in these areas is against fire code and city ordinances, it also creates safety hazards and more congestion. Thank you for your consideration of everyone around you.
