Oakwood Soccer Club, Inc. is pleased to invite your team to apply to the 29th annual Oakwood Premier Invitational to be held in Connecticut on May 23-25, 2020. This year we will accept teams U9 thru U19 that are currently registered in good standing with their USYSA state association or US Club Soccer. All teams will compete 11 v 11, except for the U9 & 10 (7 v 7), U11 & 12 (9 v 9) divisions.

Dear OPI Teams:   Due to the COVID-19 pandemic OPI 2020 will not be played. All teams will receive full refunds. Oakwood Soccer Club, Inc. is pleased to invite your team to apply to the 29th annual Oakwood Premier Invitational to be held in Connecticut on May 23-25, 2020.  Outdoor field complexes in Glastonbury, Manchester and Portland, CT will be utilized. Our feature site is the Oakwood Soccer Park in Portland, CT featuring 2 full-sized artificial turf pitches, both with lights.   This year we will accept teams U9 thru U19 that are currently registered in good standing with their USYSA state association or US Club Soccer. All teams will compete 11 v 11, except for the U9 & 10 (7 v 7), U11 & 12 (9 v 9) divisions. For the U16/17/18/19 age divisions teams are encouraged to bring player profiles for distribution to all college coaches attending.   In order to maintain the high competitive quality of our event, the number of teams selected will be limited to approximately 130; Teams will be selected on the strength of their league, tournament records and geographical balance.  As proven by our history, all divisions will compete at a very high level.  We are looking for Regional and State Premier League Champions. Last year’s teams came from seven northeastern states. This year brackets will be extremely limited and highly competitive.    Application deadline is now extended to April 20, 2020. Early applications would be greatly appreciated. Club discounts for 6 or more teams are available by emailing rick.derella@oakwoodsoccer.com Acceptances will be posted on the club website: www.oakwoodsoccer.com on or before April 22, 2020.
