2020 Surf Cup (Youngers) REVISED PLAY DATES for 2009 - 2013

REVISED DATES for SURF CUP YOUNGEST teams 2009 - 2013: Due to COVID19 and phase reopening we have changed the dates for all of the summer Surf Cup events. Playdates for boys and girls 2009 - 2013 will be August 22 - 23, 2020. The 2020 Surf Cup tournament starts the new soccer year in Cal South. Teams should register and play according to the 2020/21 season. We will follow US Soccer's Age Group Guidelines based on birth year and the Small-Sided Games Mandates. Surf Cup (youngest) will host teams in the 2013 (U8) through 2009 (U12) age groups. The Best of the Best Division will be the top division at this event. The top 16 team applications will be selected for this division in each age/birth year. All teams are guaranteed 3 games over the 2-day weekend. Registration deadline is July 15, 2020. Teams will be notified by July 20, 2020 of their status for the event. This is a US Club Sanctioned event but player cards from USYS, USSSA, AYSO are accepted. Boys & Girls ages U8(2013) - U12(2009) will play on dates 8/22/20 - 8/23/20. Surf Cup is a stay and play event meaning all teams must make their hotel reservations through Maverick Travel. Instructions will be included on the acceptance email that each team will receive if they are accepted into the tournament. There is no opt-out option for this policy.
